Playoffs Sharma

With the first two rounds of the BCHL playoffs over with, we can take some time to look back on the two goalies that the Surrey Eagles used.

Ajeet Gundarah took slightly more of the work. The Sacred Heart commit has been very solid and has slashed a 2.45 GAA and a 0.933 SV% through 7 games. But the star goalie has not played as many games as I anticipated.

The back up Jaiden Sharma has flipped a switch this postseason and is taking just under half of the games. The Vancouver tender has put up very impressive numbers through 7 games. His 1.31 GAA and .960 SV% in the prior rounds is quite a step up from his regular season 2.25 GAA and .934 SV% through 16 games.

Sharma's step up could come in clutch for the Eagles as the postseason is very rough on starting goalies and he might be needed in the upcoming rounds.
